Clyde DeWitt, President, is currently residing in River Ridge at 21 Reymann Drive, River Ridge, Yellow Spring, West Virginia with wife Judith Ann (Judi).  Prior to building and moving to River Ridge, they lived in Manassas, Virginia where both retired.

Clyde spent twenty-six years in the United States Army, after retiring from the Army he went back to college for his second Masters degree in Special Education and taught in the Prince William County School system as a Special Education Teacher for approximately ten years.  Judy and Clyde met teaching and both retired in 2004.

Clyde and Judy have five grown children and two grand children, not counting the seven or more dogs, cats, horses, etc.  They both enjoy (love) living in River Ridge because of the natural beauty, cleanliness and tranquility that abounds here.  They are trying to make their home energy efficient and self-supporting.  You may have seen the house; we are the ones with the two windmills.  Yes, they really work and generate electricity along with our solar panels and supplement and provide about two-thirds of our total power needs.   They both enjoy several hobbies and interests, which include torchon lace making, woodcrafts, gardening, swimming and hiking.  Additionally Judi enjoys sewing, painting, drawing, cooking and several other artistic creativity endeavors.  I would like to learn to play the banjo, restore my 1966 Austin Healey and build a cedar strip canoe.

“When we first bought our property, we elected not to be actively involved with the River Ridge Property Owners Association (RRPOA) due to pressing family issues and business.  Those issues are now resolved and I feel I can support and serve this community”
