Welcome to the official web site for River Ridge, a private mountain community located in Yellow Spring, West Virginia just east of Wardensville, approximately 50 miles west of Winchester, Virginia and about a two hour drive from the Washington, D.C. area.

Community Notes and Notices
The community wide SPEED LIMIT is 15 mph. All members and their guests are asked to obey the speed limit.
FALL ROAD WORK is underway on all roads. Owners and guests should be aware of the truck traffic in the subdivision during this time.
WEST VIRGINIA FIRE SEASON: The periods of each year between March 1 and May 31, inclusive, and October 1 and December 31, inclusive, are hereby designated as Forest Fire Seasons.
No person shall during ANY such fire season, except between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. prevailing time, set on fire or cause to be set on fire any forest land, or any grass, grain, stubble, slash, debris, or other inflammable materials.
